History of the Village Trunyan

Trunyan is an ancient village on the shores of Lake Batur, Kintamani, Bangli.Desa District is a Bali Aga village, Bali Mula with people's lives are unique and interesting Bali Aga, means the Balinese mountains, while the original Bali Bali Mula means. Trunyan residents perceive themselves and their identity in the two versions. The first version, is the Bali Trunyan the derivatives, because they believe that their ancestors fell 'from heaven to earth Trunyan.Terkait with this version, the Trunyan have a sacred myth or fairy tale about the origin of the population Trunyan is a goddess of the sky.  The second version, Trunyan people live in ecological systems with Taru incense tree, the tree spread smells fragrant. supposedly there used to be four kings solo fragrant smell of incense tree, and then they look for the source of the scent, but during the course of their members they are always reduced, because of interest in the first place they are going through, both because they are attracted to the sound of birds and then converted into a statue sitting cross-legged, three attracted to a girl who was very pretty and then cursing menjaadi a statue face down, and the latter still continue the journey until he finally found the source of the odor.

Trunyan located on the east edge of Lake Batur, the location is very remote. Road from Penelokan, Kintamani, only reached the village Kedisan. From Kedisan to Trunyan people have to cross the lake Batur for 45 minutes by motorboat or 2 hours by canoe with paddles driven. In addition to waterways, Trunyan can also be reached by road, the trail passes through the village of Fruits and brother.
Eve Trunyan air is very cool, the average temperature is 17 degrees Celsius and can go down to 12 degrees Celsius. Lake Batur with a length of 9 km and a width of 5 km is one source of water and a source of agrarian life Balinese south and east.
Specifically, in relation to the beliefs of Trunyan about illness and death, the funeral Trunyan way there are 2 kinds:1. Putting bodies on the ground under the open air termed mepasah. For the purposes of burial, in Trunyan there are 3 graves are:* Sema wayah destined for burial types mepasah (placed on the tananh)* Sema Bantas, diperuntuukan for the burial.
